Nicaraguan Social Project

A non-governmental organization, non-profit, which works in social integration projects in the city of Grenada, Nicaragua.  Started more than 6 years ago, aims to support the personal and professional development of people at risk of social exclusion.  Persons who, for different reasons have serious difficulties finding a job.

All of the hammocks are made in a workshop of about 30 artisans.  Most of them young people, many with disabilities: deafness, blindness, mobility impairment, etc.  At this social center, they earn a decent salary, with labor and environmental conditions that contribute and help their development as individuals.
